We are submitting a proposal to play Hawaiian mele as a flute choir at this convention. This is a big deal as Hawaii has never been represented before at an NFA Convention. Calling all Hawaii flute players! We have the opportuntity to represent HAWAII & HAWAIIAN MUSIC for the first time ever at the next National Flute Association convention this summer. We are submitting a proposal to play Hawaiian mele as a flute choir at this convention. This is a big deal as Hawaii has never been represented before at an NFA Convention, and also because the convention is hardly ever on the west coast (Portland, OR this year). We need all hands on deck to make this opportunity happen, and we need to hear from interested flutists by Nov 16th! Pls message or comment here with any questions.
