We are gearing up for our Band Banquet as we celebrate our amazing band kids and all they’ve accomplished this year! 🎶🧡

Tickets are available for purchase at the band hall, and we ask that all tickets be purchased by May 4th.

We are so thankful for each student, family, and supporter who makes this program so special. Looking forward to a night full of celebration, laughter, and great memories together!

Today, our Honey Grove HS Band attended the 2026 UIL Region 25 Concert and Sightreading Contest, hosted at Melissa HS.

This contest is an evaluation of a performance on stage (Concert) as well as a performance of a new piece, written specifically for the contest (Sightreading). Both portions are critiqued by 3 judges and a rating is given based off of their scores.

Our Band earned a🥇SUPERIOR🥇on Stage AND a🥇SUPERIOR🥇in Sightreading, which are both the highest ratings an ensemble can receive!

Also, by earning a Superior at each UIL Event the ensemble has participated in, they have earned a 🏆SWEEPSTAKES🏆 for the 2025-2026 school year!

This is also the first time since 2017-2018 that our HS Band has earned Sweepstakes back-to-back! Congrats to our stellar musicians!!!
