Ag teachers are a special breed. They teach. They mentor. They inspire. They tell the best corny jokes (you know it's true) and bleed blue and gold. But most importantly, they help grow the next generation of leaders.

As the CDE season comes to a close this week help us celebrate with send off tomorrow (5/6) at 3:30pm at the High School for all State Advancing Team members! After, the Entomology team will travel to Stephenville for the National contest ! Best of luck Ento Team!

As we look towards the next few weeks there are many deadlines quickly approaching!

Interested in running for a chapter or district officer- pick up an application asap!

Seniors, scholarship apps have gone out be sure to turn them in by the deadline!

Planning to show swine at state fair ? $27 each.

Lonestar Degrees are Due in May as-well as State Convention Deposits !

Also next month is the Hondo FFA Banquet- look for the official invite with RSVP soon and start collecting photos for the FFA & Senior Slideshow !

Reminder we are just ONE WEEK AWAY from the annual Hondo FFA Invitational CDE! Those interested in registering for the onsite meal- be sure to register TODAY, otherwise registration closes this Sunday!

Hondo FFA members & Parents we especially need your help the day/ afternoon of- to assist with group leaders and contest organization to make the day a success!

FFA members join us this Thursday December 11th in the HHS Cafeteria for the Annual Hondo FFA Christmas Party! Find out who will win this year’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and if you would like to participate there will be a White Elephant gift exchange ($15 limit).

Be sure to let an FFA Advisor know if you’ll be in Attendance!

Hondo FFA Entry Night is tonight from 4-6!

Livestock and Ag Mech exhibitors and those interested in Youth Showcase join us next Tuesday November 4th 4-6pm to complete entries for MCJLS in January & Major Stock shows!

*entries will not be complete without payment*

Also livestock exhibitors if you plan to show at a major for the first time or will be entering 3rd, 6th or 9th grade, please be sure to complete quality counts prior to entry night !
