We had a wonderful turn out of studio members to participate with the the National Climate Artist Collective “Sacredness of Place” a community environmental land art installation with Sharlene Cline. We will be prepping these raku tiles for a communal pit fire 🔥 later this month. Stay tuned for the results of this unique community art project.

It was a great day at KBay with local pottery legend Paul Dungan. He spent a couple hours with some of our members while finishing some pieces and passing on some of his extensive knowledge. We are looking to make it a regular occurrence and are so excited to collaborate more with our community.

Weve got a nice spot to dry some pots out the back door of the studio on sunny days and fun and exciting things happening inside all the time. We will be hangin around firing kilns and playing with mud today come check us out.
