This is absolutely sad!!  Young adults have no place to go, but on the streets This is shameful .. all my bio kids had to come back home for a little while as adults and they’re always welcome to come back as an adult children that were should have a place to go …
 Our nonprofit can’t house them, but we do want them to know if you were in foster care and you need help with clothes / or hygiene items whatever we have at the closet you’re more than welcome to

I am so excited that we are so busy and seeing so many families come through our doors. This is exactly what Village Foster Closet of Holmdel is all about — supporting the foster families who say “yes” when children need them most.

Just recently, another amazing foster mom opened her home to two siblings because she didn’t want them to be separated. She was completely caught off guard when the 7-year-old needed a size 12 and the 9-year-old needed a size 15! As foster parents know, children often arrive with very little, and you never know what their needs will be.

But that’s why Village Foster Closet of Holmdel is here. We have their backs. We will make sure these children have age-appropriate clothing, shoes, and essentials so they can feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated. The beautiful clothing, shoes, toys, and essentials make a tremendous difference. And those gift cards are priceless because they allow Village Foster Closet of Holmdel to run out and get exactly what a child needs when they arrive.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Please know that your generosity helps bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of belonging to children during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. It truly means the world to me and to the families served by Village Foster Closet of Holmdel. ❤️🐝🏡

Our open house was such a beautiful success, and my heart is so full. I know I’m extremely late in posting this thank you, but life has been moving a mile a minute. Today, while my girls are getting their hair braided, I finally have a few quiet moments to reflect on the past few weeks and all the kindness that surrounded us.

Thank you so much, Kevin Kelly for your incredibly generous donation. Your support means more than you know. It was such a pleasure meeting you and spending time with your wonderful family. I truly enjoyed chatting with all of you and getting to know the people behind such a thoughtful gift.
