Alright friends — Big update:

Our home is now for sale, and here’s the fun part:
I’ll leave the entire Pup Pit Stop outdoor setup for the right buyer.
Yes, the secure dog run built specifically for safety and decompression, and the custom AC‑equipped kennel that has helped keep all of the pups who have been here nice and comfortable in this Florida heat. If someone wants to keep the magic going here, the whole setup stays 🐾💜

I’ll be relocating to St. Cloud, FL, where Pup Pit Stop will be expanding once I’m settled. The move will allow us to grow the mission and support more dogs who need a safe place to reset.

Sonic came in as a scared, soaked baby standing alone in the rain 😢

Now he is a 40lb, five-ish month old sweetheart who loves all people, plays beautifully with other dogs, respects cats, sleeps through the night, is house trained, crate trained, super smart, and learning his leash manners like a champ.

He is the perfect boy.
Sweet. Silly. Gentle. Ready for his forever home 🏡

Another mama dog and her puppy abandoned in a Redlands nursery. Another day of Gloria Cabal being the absolute force she is — and this time, coordinating their safety from an entirely different country. Another rescue who said yes. Another save made possible because this village shows up again and again 🫶

Meet Buffy (baby) and Willow (mama) 🐾💜

These two sweet girls will be staying here at Pup Pit Stop until they make their way to Guardians of FL Animal Rescue on Saturday. They are safe, but their stories are not finished.

Lizzie was supposed to stay at Pup Pit Stop for two weeks, but she only stayed for five days.

Why? Two reasons.

1. After four months, Akita, my foster with Saving Sage Animal Rescue, got adopted 🥳
2. I decided I didn’t want to just give Lizzie a safe space to land and decompress. I want to foster her until she finds the forever home she deserves.

We don’t know a ton about her yet, but we do know she is the sweetest girl 🥹

Lizzie will need a little more time before she’s ready for her forever home, but don’t let that stop you from getting pre approved to meet this beautiful GSP 😍

Lizzie. Day three.

I think she officially decided I am a friend 🥹🥰

She’s greeting me now. Actively seeking attention. Leaning in. Letting herself trust a little more every time she steps out. Watching her shift from unsure to open is one of those moments that reminds me why I do this. Why I make space for dogs who need a landing spot and a chance to breathe.

She is healing so well, and you can already see the loyal, loving companion she’s going to be for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her once she’s ready for her forever home.

I’m just really grateful I get to be part of this tiny piece of her story.
