The Wes Side Queens 15U AAU are getting ready for something special, and I’m sitting down with our head coach Lora Akridge for her FIRST interview as she steps into her first season as a head coach! 🎙️🔥

We’re talking about why she took the job, the culture she wants to build, expectations for the Queens, developing young women on AND off the court—and of course I had to throw some fun questions at her too. 😂

This ain’t just about putting a team on the floor.

Wow what a 8 weeks its been. I've see so much growth in each and every athlete that participated in the academy! I hope they take what they worked so hard to learn and put it to good use.

Our last day was SOOO!! FUN I cant put it into words.

We even got the parents to participate in some activities against the kids tonshow them who tought them what they know💪💪 so Huge shout out to ALL THE PARENTS.

Also thank you guys again for trusting me with your athlete to help make them better hoopers in the future.

We did musical ball, a fun relay race, some lighting, and had to end it with some parents vs kids in the 5v5 and that got real really fast🤣🤣

I dont know how some trainers can end the training without feeling emotional but man its sucks that its over. I cant wait till the next one and I hope they all come back for part 2.

Thank you Holland Charter Township Community Center for the partnership and i hope we can continue to do more together to help the youth athletes 🙏
