Meet Caroline. 🍑💛

Caroline was sweet, joyful, a little bit spunky and drawn to all things good. She was the kind of kid whose sweetness earned her the nickname “Peach.”

She loved deeply, noticed the good around her and had a way of bringing joy with her wherever she went.

When Caroline was diagnosed with DIPG at just 8 years old, that joy didn’t disappear. Even as the tumor began taking things from her, she rarely complained. In fact, Caroline made one rule very clear: if you cried, you owed 25 cents. 🪙

Her outlook on life was simple and also profoundly wise for her age: “We must never be angry, and we must never have regrets.”

On March 18, 2017, at age 9, Caroline went to be with her Savior.

Today, Caroline’s PEACH Foundation carries forward the heart of the little girl who started it all. Choosing joy, loving people well and working toward a future where kids don’t have to face diseases like DIPG.

Because, as Caroline believed, kids shouldn’t be sick. 🍑

Caroline was full of joy, personality and sweet as a PEACH. She is the reason we continue to show up for kids facing pediatric cancer today.

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re inviting you to join us at our favorite event of the year.

Come spend an evening with us at the PEACH Harvest Hoedown on October 1st as we gather in Caroline’s memory, celebrate the community she continues to bring together through the life she lived and raise critical funds for pediatric cancer research.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re going GOLD. 💛🎗️🍑

For the families who have heard the words no parent should ever have to hear. For the children fighting unimaginable battles. For Caroline, and for every child who deserves more time, more options, and a future.

At Caroline’s PEACH Foundation, our mission is to help change what’s possible for children with cancer by funding innovative pediatric cancer research and bringing hope to families who desperately need it.

This month, help us turn awareness into action. Share our mission. Give if you can. Talk about childhood cancer. And help us continue investing in the research that could change the future for families facing this disease.

Because awareness matters. But what we do with that awareness matters even more. 💛

🎗️ Incredible progress! Earlier this week, Congress passed a funding package that included the Accelerating Kids’ Access to Care Act and the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act—important advancements for pediatric cancer care and research. The legislation has since been signed by the President and is now law.

The package also includes critical investments in:
•The STAR Act ($30M)
•Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) ($50M)
•National Institutes of Health (NIH) ($48.716B)
•National Cancer Institute (NCI) ($7.325B)
•ARPA-H ($1.5B)

In addition, the law directs NIH to re-allow reimbursements for international research partners participating in pediatric cancer clinical trials, strengthening global collaboration and accelerating discovery.

Grateful to the advocates, families, researchers, and partners whose sustained efforts helped make this progress possible.

Tomorrow is , and our hearts are with the children and families who are spending this season in hospitals and waiting rooms instead of at home.

Caroline’s PEACH Foundation exists because one little girl’s life changed ours forever. In her honor, we’re committed to funding more hopeful options for kids with DIPG and other deadly pediatric cancers — personalized treatments, better therapies, and support for families walking this road right now.
