My family and I created The Print Zutavern Mental Health Initiative Fund in the spring of 2020 after tragically losing Print to a mental health crisis. Print fought his mental illness bravely and did everything in his power to keep it managed. He was open and honest about it, took his medication and sought when he knew he needed it. Unfortunately, that still wasn’t enough, and he lost his battle in February of 2020 due to lack of help, education and understanding of his disease. Because of this, we have become dedicated to sharing information, educating and advocating the importance of mental health awareness, support and treatment. We hope that you join our family, and the many other families that fight this illness every day. Do some research. Open your mind. Stop judging and gossiping and start having real conversations about the severity of these illnesses. Help us end the stigma. And above all, speak and show kindness. You truly have no idea what others are battling in their lives.
I have vowed to love, fight, and advocate for my late husband and will never stop. Print’s story will continue to be told and he will be remembered for the loving, creative, hilarious, hardworking, amazing soul he was and NOT this disgusting disease. 💚
