A Place To Go Lyme+ Support Group(formerly at Nashoba Hospital) was started by Tom Valerio.

It’s a place you can go and feel understood if you or anyone you love is suffering from Lyme disease and coinfections.

Thank you, again, Brandon Lacrosse for speaking at our support group, ‘A PLACE TO GO,’ last Friday! Your acquired knowledge and experience raised awareness and enlightened our group while providing hope for healing for everyone who attended. And I felt so honored to host/attend another advocacy talk with you! 💚Another, special thank you to Pastor John at The First Congregational Church in Holden Mass, for letting us use their space last minute!

ALERT… PLEASE NOTE…THIS MEETING PLACE has been changed last minute tonight to the Holden First Congressional Church! Same time, 6pm, But 2 parking lots down from the Senior Center! Spread the word! We will also have someone directing folks to down the street:)

MAY is Lyme+ Awareness Month-and we are looking forward to our upcoming meeting, next Friday, May 8th at 6pm. Our guest speaker, Brandon Lacrosse, a young, Massachusetts Lyme+ survivor, will be helping us to raise awareness. Featured in the Lyme Documentary, ‘The Monster Inside Me,’ he was a speaker for our Central Mass Lyme Conferences and created a powerful mini-documentary of his own at the age of 17. Bring your questions and comments next Friday to Holden, Ma.

See you this Friday, April 10th at 6pm-where we will be sharing what the experts say about best practices for tick removal, tick prevention, and how to be informed advocates for yourself and your family if you are bitten. We will be passing out Tick ID/Proper Removal Cards to all and raffling off 2 complete NELAD tick removal kits!

For our April Meeting, we will be doing a much needed, short presentation about best practices for tick prevention and we will be providing information about tick testing as well. We are already getting inundated with messages about tick bites:(

Greetings! A quick reminder that our next meeting will be on Friday, March 13th, at 6pm, at the Holden Senior Center! Our foundation will be speaking about Lyme and coinfection and beyond-testing options out there and all the “WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY details surrounding this overwhelming topic. And fortunately and unfortunately, we have A LOT of experience navigating through it. I will share what we know and what we have learned. Our monthly flyer will follow soon:)
