The government shut down has added more food insecurity in our neighborhood, prompting A Second Helping to add an off schedule donation opportunity. We will have our trailer out on Saturday morning, Nov. 8th from 10 AM to Noon in the front parking lot of Sharon Methodist Church at 2030 Holden Beach Road, Supply, NC. As always, all donations will go to our local food pantries.

Season's End Summary: During this season's collection, we received 10,057 pounds of donations and also received cash donations of $1,360, which we will distribute to the local food banks. 🍑🍌🍞
A big thanks to all of you, our great volunteers and those who contributed donations, in making this another successful season-enabling us to assist those with food security in our community.

Our fantastic dedicated volunteers collected & transported 800 pounds of donated food & assorted non-food items yesterday!! We appreciate each & every one!!
REMEMBER: we’re located at the Beach Mart each Saturday morning - 8:00am to 10:30am! We collect open, unopened, perishable, nonperishable, toiletries, paper products, toys & cash donations!

Our incredible ASH volunteers collected 759.5 # & $40 in donations yesterday!! Thankful for a cooling morning breeze & for all of our very generous vacationers!! 😎

It was a HOT & HUMID Saturday for our incredible A Second Helping volunteers who persevered and collected 1150 pounds of donations!!! Blessings abound!!

Thankful for our volunteers!! Yesterday we collected almost 800 pounds of food as vacationers left Holden Beach.
We collect food donations every Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 8-10:30 at the Beach Mart.
