You can either arrange your estate plans to where there is money to care for your pets with a trusted friend or relative. Or, your pets can be transferred into the care of Horse Plus Humane Society with funding for its care and transport if anything was to happen to you.

🎉 HUGE NEWS for Colorado horses! 🎉
We are beyond thrilled to announce that Horse Plus Humane Society has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Colorado Horse Rescue Network! This incredible gift was made possible by the generosity of one of our amazing supporters, Karen, who also held a special place in her heart for CHRN. Sadly, Karen is no longer with us, but her legacy and love for horses lives on. Karen's thoughtfulness went beyond Horse Plus Humane Society. She watched CHRN on the Horse Plus TV show, Horse Rescue Heroes and wanted to help CHRN too as part of her lasting legacy. Karen asked Horse Plus Humane Society’s president, Tawnee Preisner, to help CHRN with some of the estate.
For years, CHRN has dreamed of having an indoor training barn and dedicated veterinary space. We at Horse Plus have been working alongside them to make this dream a reality, but haven't been in a position to contribute financially until now. Thanks to Karen's loving legacy through the Horse Plus Foundation, we can finally help!
This $50,000 grant will be instrumental in making CHRN's vision a reality. It will allow them to better serve the horses in their care and provide them with the best possible chance for a bright future. This gift was set up as a matching grant to be used to build an indoor Training and Veterinarian barn. CHRN was able to raise enough money to meet their goal to match the $50,000 grant, giving them $100,000 for this project.  
Karen's generosity is a testament to her love for horses and her commitment to their well-being. Her legacy will live on through the countless horses that will benefit from this gift, both at Horse Plus Humane Society and the Colorado Horse Rescue Network. Thank you, Karen, and thank you to everyone who supports our mission to help horses in need! ❤️
