At Prancing Horse, the first Friday of every month is Veterans First Friday. We honor veterans that have completed our freedom reins program by inviting them back to the farm to spend time with their favorite four and two legged friends. Today, we give them an extra shout out as we raise awareness for PTSD month. We are also thankful and appreciative that Lulu was there to supervise! 🤣🐕🐴

Volunteers and Veterans are an integral part of the Prancing Horse community. Last week we got to celebrate and honor both at our volunteer dinner and flag raising ceremony. Sometimes we just need to be in the presence of horses. Even though the timing was not ideal, we are grateful for today’s desperately needed rain! ☔️ It gave us permission to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the healing power of horses. Of course, we also had a bit of fun letting our horses show off in the field and enjoy some homemade treats! Thank you to our friends from The Station Foundation for hanging with us on a rainy day!🐴❤️🥕🍎 🌈

Today we welcomed new and returning friends from SRU. Our horses loved the extra attention and walks around the farm, as well as getting to stretch their legs and have powerful interactions in the round pen. The love continued into the afternoon as our after school riders came out for their lessons. 🐴❤️😎❤️
