NEW KID ON THE BLOCK!!!
Bronny, 9mo mixed breed neutered male, 43lbs

Dog 🐶 friendly?: yes, generally happy and submissive when meeting other dogs

Cat 🐱 friendly?: did well with shelter kitty but introduction would need to be observed

Kid friendly?: loves kids! Would recommend children old enough to understand being respectful with pets. His energy may be too much for small children

House 🏠 broken?: yes

Crate trained?: yes! Whines for a bit but settles in nicely. Sleeps like a champ overnight!

Leash trained?: yes! We are working on leash biting but he is learning very quickly

Travel well in the 🚗?: yes but he is a little nervous

Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): 7, loves to play but can absolutely veg out once his energy is spent

Fenced yard required?: not required but preferred. Leash walks would be necessary to tire him out if running in a fence is not possible

Ideal family dynamic/living situation: someone with the time to provide him with lots of exercise and mental stimulation. He’d love to go on runs/hikes/adventures

Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: lovessss chewing Nyla bones and rope toys!

Anything special about your foster pup that would make them stand out: his nose tells you everything about Bronny… lots of heart ❤️

For anyone who followed Mama Stella’s story as we welcomed her & her puppies earlier this summer … here’s our lovely 🥰 girl! She’s raised her pups and now it’s her time to shine! Stella came from a far less than desirable situation and has come so far! While she can still take some time to adjust to new people and surroundings, she’s ready to meet her forever family and live her best life.

Stella, 6yo female German Shepherd, 60lbs. Already spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Dog 🐶 friendly?: really enjoys other friendly dogs after a slow introduction

Cat 🐱 friendly?: not tested

Kid friendly?: not tested, at this time due to her somewhat skittish nature , only homes with respectful, dog savvy kids 13 and over will be considered

House 🏠 broken?: yes

Crate trained?: yes

Leash trained?: She LOVES her walks! She still gets spooked by passing bikes/dirtbikes. She gets focused on rabbits/squirrels and will bark/pull a bit. She likes to sniff all the things and just take in the world around her

Travel well in the 🚗?: yes

Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): about a 6. she needs a few daily walks and likes to play with another dog

Fenced yard required?: not required but definitely preferred

Ideal family dynamic/living situation: Stella has not been around many male humans and tends to get comfortable faster with women. An owner/family with time to give her plenty of exercise and playtime, and also the patience to continue working on basic training

Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: pretty much anything, it took her a while to learn to enjoy playing

Still looking 👀 for his forever 🏠

Dylan, 6mo neutered male, Canary Mastiff/American Bulldog mix currently 47lbs, will be large when fully grown, potentially over 100lbs (applicants with large breed experience will take preference)

Any special medical 🏥 needs?: no

Dog 🐶 friendly?: Yes, loves other friendly dogs

Cat 🐱 friendly?: unknown

Kid friendly?: Yes, but due to his size older children may be best. He’s very loving and playful but could inadvertently knock over little humans

House 🏠 broken?: Yes! A schedule will be important when transitioning to his new home

Crate trained?: Yes!

Leash trained?: Work in progress. He’s excited to be out & about so tends to pull and weave, will need continued work on this skill

Travel well in the 🚗?: does well. It’s not his favorite and he may whine a bit for the first few minutes but usually settles and rests

Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): 5- goes with the flow. Naps with intermittent times of play

Fenced yard required?: Not required but definitely preferred

Ideal family dynamic/living situation: Dylan is an outgoing puppy who would do well in almost any family dynamic! He enjoys playing and being outside. Given his age, it would be preferable for him to go to a home where he’s not alone more than a few hours a day.

Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: Dylan seems to love everything he encounters. He is learning to play fetch, enjoys walks, and loves to sleep on his dog bed. Ice is a favorite treat of his and he will come running anytime he hears ice clink in a cup.

Anything special about your foster pup that would make them stand out: Dylan is a fun loving, goofy puppy who is learning how to maneuver with his big paws while he is growing into them. He will take his lead from his people and will gladly participate in all activities with them! He’s very food motivated which will make training easier!

These sweet souls need our help 🙏🏻 currently in an open-admissions shelter in South Carolina. Because of overpopulation, they are making difficult decisions. No one likes to hear it, but it’s the grave reality rescuers face daily. Supporters, you know the RR team, we’re busting our butts to get them all to safety but we need fosters!!! The rescue provides food, vet care, and basic supplies, fosters provide a safe place for these pups to land and realize their stories will have happy endings! We ask for a minimum 2-3 week commitment upon arrival 8/29.

Hello! My name is Titus! I'm a neutered male Hound / Terrier mix. I'm 10 weeks old and presently homeless. I'm a sweet boy with a friendly disposition! Presently, I'm looking for a home to call my very own! I do great with other dogs. I have no history around children, but I'm very young and eager for love. Because of my history in a shelter, I'm just learning the ropes and will need your help with housetraining. You have the option to foster me for 14 days before adopting me to ensure a lifetime fit for everyone. This is called foster-to-adopt.

My sisters are also available! We are looking to be adopted into separate homes.

Bronny is at a shelter that is open-admissions. They are beyond capacity by 35 animals. Thank you for considering saving his life. We are foster-based without a shelter. We are only able to take in dogs if we can secure a foster home. RR provides a crate and covers all veterinary care. Available as a foster dog or a foster-to-adopt. Thank you!

Meet Jumanji! We're seeking a backup foster for Jumanji, who is currently at an open-admissions shelter. He's been tagged to transfer to Renee's Rescues, Inc. He's very scared and will need time, patience, and a gentle approach as he learns that he is safe. We don’t know what he may have experienced, but right now, his fear is significant. He will not walk on a leash and needs to be physically lifted and carried outside to go potty. At 52–55 pounds, that is an important consideration for anyone caring for him. If you're interested in being called as a backup foster for him, please submit a foster application. He is heartworm positive. Rescue will absorb the cost of treatment through designated vet in Bear, DE.

Dog Assessment: Crouched down and did not engage.

Cat Assessment: Sniffed and looked. Was not reactive.
