What a great start!

Last night, we held our very first gathering event, bringing together firefighters, law enforcement officers, veterans, and community supporters for an evening of good food, conversation, and connection.

We shared a meal, introduced ourselves, talked about the vision behind At Ease Collective, and discussed future gatherings, classes, and opportunities to support those who serve. A special thank you to Megan Gallegos for joining us and sharing information about the free services available to veterans through her organization Permian Basin Counseling & Guidance.

Another note of thanks to Nathan Eubank and the VFW for being such gracious hosts. We appreciate you welcoming us into your space to hold our first event.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took time out of their evening to attend, participate, and help make our first event a success. Building meaningful connections within our community is exactly why we started this organization.

We're excited for what's ahead and look forward to offering even more opportunities as we continue to grow and secure funding for future events.

☕🇺🇸 Another meaningful morning at Coffee With Vets.

These events are a small but important reminder that connection doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with a handshake, a conversation, and a cup of coffee.

A special thank you to the Hobbs Fire Department for once again showing up and investing your time in these veterans. Your willingness to sit, listen, and connect makes a lasting difference.
We are also incredibly grateful to Monique at Starbucks for generously donating the coffee and supplies. Your continued support helps make these gatherings possible and reminds our veterans that their community cares.
Thank you to Desert Springs Healthcare for welcoming us, and thank you to everyone helping us ensure that those who served our country continue to be seen, valued, and remembered. 🇺🇸☕️

Memorial Day is a reminder that grief is not something to get over — it's something we carry together.

If you're carrying loss this weekend, whether it's a fallen soldier, a loved one, or something harder to name, you're not doing the holiday wrong. You're doing it honestly.

If this weekend feels heavy, that's okay. Give yourself grace, and be gentle with yourself. 🤍

Today, At Ease Collective held our very first Coffee With Vets event at White Sands Healthcare, and it was an incredible reminder of why this mission matters so much. 🇺🇸☕️

So many veterans in assisted living and nursing facilities no longer have the ability to get out into the community for connection and fellowship — so we’re bringing the community to them.

A huge THANK YOU to the Hobbs Fire Department for showing up in such a big way today. Your presence, conversations, laughter, and willingness to spend time with these veterans meant more than words can express. It was powerful to watch generations of service members and public servants connecting around one table.

We also want to give a special thank you to Monique at Starbucks for graciously donating the coffee, cups, creamer, sugar, and supplies that helped make today possible. Your generosity helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.

This is exactly what At Ease Collective is about:
