💚 THANK YOU TO THE VAN DE YACHT FAMILY 💚

The Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Van De Yacht family for thinking of our rugby community as they closed out the Cindee Van De Yacht Foundation.

Cindee was the beloved matriarch of the Van De Yacht family whose life was taken by cancer. As the family considered how best to distribute the remaining funds from the foundation created in her memory, they wanted those dollars to continue making a difference for young people in our community.

Rugby was a natural fit.

Cindee’s son, Nick, and granddaughter, Rhiana, have been longtime members of the Green Bay Rugby family. As Nick shared, “My mom loved all the kids’ sports.”

In that spirit, the family has chosen to support several local youth sports organizations, including the Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Foundation.

We are incredibly honored that Cindee’s legacy will become part of the future of rugby in Northeast Wisconsin. This gift will help us continue building a place that serves not only today’s players, but generations of kids, families, and the entire rugby community.

Thank you to the Van De Yacht family for your generosity, and for choosing to honor Cindee’s memory by investing in opportunities for young people.

Her love for kids and their sports will continue to make an impact. 💚🏉

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 1st Golf outing a success!

The weather was great. The woods did a great job hosting us, and our golfers were a great mix of sponsors, community supporters, current players and rugby oldboys, and youth rugby familys.

We had lot of great donated prizes for the raffle. Look for another post thanking our sponsors and donors.

We are already planning year 2!

Thank you, Green Bay Moose Lodge, for continuing your support of rugby in NE Wisconsin. First, you held a fundraiser for the Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Foundation, and now you have raised $1100 for the Green Bay Youth Rugby Boosters to support our young ladies of the Banshees.

The Moose are supporting our program and helping more young women benefit from rugby.
