🏉 Thank You, Ethos of Rugby Foundation! 🏉

The Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Foundation is proud to announce that we have received a generous $2,000 grant from the Ethos of Rugby Foundation.

This funding will be used toward the installation of goal posts at the Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Complex in Lawrence, helping us continue to build a premier rugby facility that will serve youth, high school, collegiate, and adult rugby players throughout our region.

The Ethos of Rugby Foundation is widely recognized for its outstanding support of graduating high school seniors through scholarships and educational grants. We are especially grateful that they have chosen to invest in the growth of our rugby community and the future of our complex.

On behalf of our players, families, clubs, and supporters, thank you to the Ethos of Rugby Foundation for helping us create more opportunities for rugby in Northeast Wisconsin.

Big things happening at the Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Complex today 💪🌱

Our crew put in a full day of work getting the pitches in top shape:

• Fields were aerated and over-seeded to promote stronger, healthier turf
• Dirt was moved to repair erosion and level key areas
• And for the first time — our new in-ground irrigation system is up and running 🚿

A huge thank you to Mike, Andy, and Jay for giving up part of their Memorial Day to make this complex better for everyone.

Our ‘baby’ gets it first cut. Thank you Mike for taking the time to cut today using our new mower from Ambrosius Sales and Service, Inc Gravely

For the most part, the fields held up over the winter. We have a little bit of erosion to fix. The turf did retain some weeds from the old farmers field, but thanks to Lakeland Lawn Care they are starting to turn yellow and die.

Green Bay Rugby Club led the way by bringing rugby to Northeast Wisconsin in 1972.

They continue to lead the way by being active in the community and making a difference in peoples lives.

Very proud that they are part of the Northeast Wisconsin Rugby family.

We’re incredibly honored to be recognized as the 2026 Organization of the Year by Brown County Health & Human Services.

Serving our community has always been at the heart of what we do, and this award is a reflection of the time, effort, and passion our members continue to give back year after year.

We are so thankful to our community, including the Moose Lodge, which is supporting our Rugby Complex with a Booyah fundraiser. The event is on May 9th, starting at 10:30am.

Grab some booyah and support our dream to provide a home for the youth of NE Wisconsin.
