Today is Elora’s Birthday. Heaven holds so many of our beautiful kiddos. I had to share her today! Saturday her family had a great fundraiser and shared a ton of love to many people in Eloras name. Do you know Elora Khan?

Here is a bit about this sweet girl!

Elora was a remarkable seven-year-old whose presence brought warmth and brightness to everyone she encountered. Her chocolate brown eyes, always alive with curiosity and joy, reflected her vibrant spirit—fitting for a name that means “light of God.”

She moved through life with unwavering faith and resilience, always eager to spread love and kindness. Elora had a way of recognizing beauty in everyday moments—she called them “God Moments.”

Her world was full of imagination and creativity. From American Girl dolls and princesses to unicorns, Legos, and Build-A-Bear stuffies, her room was a reflection of the joy she carried. She loved anything that sparkled and had a natural wit that made people smile.

Whether painting, playing piano, or dreaming up something new, Elora’s creativity was constant. Blue butterflies and rainbows often appeared in her artwork—symbols of the joy she brought into the world.

She was also a spirited athlete, playing soccer, swimming, and basketball, proudly calling herself the “fastest runner.” She loved purple, blue, and gold, and dreamed of becoming both a brain doctor and a fashion designer—confidently crowning herself a “Queen.”

Elora’s greatest love was her baby sister, Eliska. Today, Elora’s light continues to shine through the Elora J. Khan Foundation, carrying forward her kindness, generosity, and joy.

Today I wanted to share something very special. This tea started with a gift from a friend, then a memory, then a brand new tea that tells another story. I am so excited about this tea. Some things are more than a hat.

This hat represents a choice.

When Randy’s brain tumor was discovered early in his military career, so much of the future he had planned suddenly changed. He lost the career he loved, faced challenges most of us can only imagine, and was forced to walk a road he never would have chosen.

But Randy made a decision.

He chose faith over bitterness.
He chose purpose over despair.
He chose to keep showing up.
And he chose to use his story to share Christ and offer hope to others.

That’s what this hat represents.

Not a diagnosis.
Not a setback.
Not what was lost.

It represents a young man who continues to honor God, encourage others, and make an impact one day at a time.

When you wear this hat, wear it proudly. Let it remind you that while we don’t get to choose every circumstance life brings, we do get to choose how we respond.

Randy’s choice continues to inspire us.

And that’s a legacy worth carrying forward.

There is something beautiful about seeing the tea before it ever reaches the package.

Every leaf tells a story.

Today Adele and Debi are helping prepare fresh tea for our shelves, carefully measuring and packaging each order by hand. It is simple work, but meaningful work.

One cup may become a conversation.
One gallon may be shared around a family table.
and remind someone they are not forgotten.

We never want to lose sight of that.

Small leaves.
Big purpose.

Each day begins with a personal reflection from Randy, followed by scripture and prayer written from the reality of walking through difficult seasons with God.

This devotional isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about learning to trust the One who sits with us in the waiting.

Day 2 reminds us that God’s presence isn’t reserved for our strongest moments.

He’s there in the questions.
He’s there in the silence.
He’s there when we don’t know what comes next.

Got my mighty Maylin Shirt today! We love this family so much! Maylins Coffee is Brown Sugar and Butter Kisses but she also has shenanigans ! Our chocolate covered coffee beans! They are amazing!
