Friends, I’m asking for your prayers and support for the upcoming Kairos Prison Ministry 4-Day Weekend at River North Correctional Center in Independence, VA, October 9th–12th.

Every time we go into these weekends, it feels like the most important one we’ve ever done—and this time, I believe it with all my heart. There is such a deep need for the light of God’s love and grace within those prison walls right now.

Please Keep the River North Kairos Team in Your Prayers!

On October 4-5, 2024, the River North Kairos team will be going into River North Correctional Facility in Independence, VA for a special 2-day retreat with the theme “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.” This Retreat will be a time for the residents to hear inspiring talks, engage in group discussions concerning relationship with Jesus Christ, and experience the power of prayer and fellowship.

We ask for your prayers as we bring God’s love and hope to the men inside the prison. Your support makes a difference, and we know that your prayer will help open hearts and guide our time together.

Additionally, we are asking for cookie donations to bring with us. Homemade cookies are a powerful symbol of love and care, and they help foster community among the residents. If you’re able to bake cookies, please reach out to us to arrange pickup or drop-off.

Thank you for your continued support of the Kairos Prison ministry at River North. Together, we can make a difference and bring light into dark places.
