🎄❤️ THE JOY EXCHANGE — HELP US FILL 160 BAGS OF JOY! ❤️🎄

The holiday season is about more than receiving—it’s about giving, serving, and reminding others that they are loved.

TCTDC is officially beginning our collection for The Joy Exchange! This Christmas, our goal is to prepare 160 Bags of Joy for the residents of The Pearl Nursing Home in Hillside. Our youth will also create handmade Christmas cards to place inside the bags, adding a personal message of love and holiday cheer. 🎁💌

We need our community’s help to make it happen! Please review the flyer for the specific items we are collecting. Every donated item—big or small—brings us one step closer to filling all 160 bags.

✨ ETIQUETTE BEYOND THE TABLE IS COMING! ✨

This is MORE than an etiquette class—it’s an experience! 💚

From October 1–October 29, our students will participate in 8 engaging, hands-on sessions designed to build confidence, character, communication skills, and presentation.

⚠️ ATTENDING ALL SESSIONS IS IMPORTANT!

Etiquette Beyond the Table is intentionally designed so that each session builds on the one before it. Students won’t simply sit and listen—they’ll participate in interactive activities, role-playing, demonstrations, real-life scenarios, challenges, and hands-on experiences throughout the program.

Our four pillars include:

🤝 Person-to-Person Etiquette
👔 Image & Presentation
📱 Internet Etiquette
🍽️ Dining Etiquette

Students will practice everything from properly greeting someone and confidently entering a room to dressing for the occasion, managing their digital footprint, setting a table, ordering with confidence, and carrying on respectful conversation.

And it all leads to our culminating experience…

This is where students will have the opportunity to put everything they’ve learned into practice!
