The Rescue Difference.

Today, a survivor reminded us of something profound.

After we prayed together, I offered to send her healing scriptures. She paused and asked:

“Do you know what the Rescue difference is?”

She explained that it’s not just that we pray.

It’s that we ask.

She said, “No one gives me options. And to be asked and not told—even for the little things—feels so good when you’ve been trafficked.”

That stopped me.

Because when someone has spent years having their choices taken away, being asked matters.

“Can I pray with you?”

“Would you like me to send that to you?”

“What would feel helpful right now?”

These may seem like little questions.

But sometimes, healing begins when someone realizes:

My voice matters.
My choice matters.
I matter.

That’s the Rescue difference.

After reaching out to Rescue America, Jenn received help navigating transportation, finding local support, and taking the next steps toward a safer, more stable life.

Every time the phone rings, it means someone has chosen courage.

In February alone, 120 individuals reached out to our 24/7 hotline looking for safety, clarity, and hope for what comes next. Each call was a powerful decision to speak up and believe that someone on the other end would care.

Because of your generosity, every single call was met with compassion, truth, and steady support.

Your partnership ensures that when someone takes that brave step, they are never met with silence.

When much of the world pauses for the holidays, the Rescue America Hotline does not.

Just before Thanksgiving, a mother made a brave choice. She left an exploitative situation with her young daughter, determined to protect her child and begin rebuilding their lives.

Reaching out for help takes strength and humility, especially during a season when others are busy and many doors are closed.

Because the Rescue America Hotline was open, she wasn’t alone to figure out next steps.

With the support of a caring community, this family was surrounded with warmth—meals shared, needs met, and steady encouragement through an uncertain week.

After Thanksgiving, a safe placement became available, and they arrived ready to take their next steps toward healing.

This is why we stay.

This is why we answer the phone again and again.

Because survivors know this is a place they can come back to.
