The Iowa County Health Department is pleased to partner with O’Connell Pharmacy to provide a community vaccine clinic on Monday, August 24, from 12:00–5:00 p.m @ MP Rescue Squad. Walk-ins welcome.

‼️‼️ EMS, fire, and law-enforcement will be holding training at the Highland schools tonight.

You will see multiple emergency response units at the school for several hours. Again, this is a training exercise only!

Please avoid the area so we can conduct our training without unnecessary interruptions.

Case count: Iowa County: 14 confirmed and 6 probable cases. Lafayette County currently remains at 1 confirmed case.

Iowa County Health Department is continuing to work closely with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) and neighboring counties on the response and ongoing investigations.

Our volunteers had a busy week last week-on top of the calls we responded to-we also spent lots of time out and about at some pretty awesome local events!

The first ever Iowa County Youth Emergency Services -YES TOUCH A TRUCK event was held in Dodgeville on Saturday and on Sunday we loaded up many of our future EMTS to show our support for our neighbors in the Village of Cobb.

Our ambulance service covers the Village of Cobb and we work closely with Cobb-Eden Fire Department/First Responders. We appreciate their hard work, knowledge and dedication to their community and the support they provide us!

I often post how HEMS wouldn’t be possible without all of you—our friends, neighbors, our community—who faithfully support us.

Today, is one of those days… shout out to OUR HOMETOWN HERO —on a Sunday morning.

Little Don answered his phone and made his way to Barneveld as we needed some assistance after experiencing a blow out on the way back from Madison.

He was there in record time and is currently getting our rig fixed so our crew can get back home!

So very thankful for him and Don’s Tire❤️❤️❤️

(And, yes—this is reason #4,235 why it’s great to have a second rig in Highland!)

Go ahead—give this kid some love 🥰.
