Tired of the same ol’ date night? So were we. 😉

Our last Date Night was SO much fun, and the number one thing we heard was, “You have to do this again!”

🀄️☘️ The cutest new mahjong salon is now open in Highland Village—and yes, it has those fancy automatic tables!

I finally got to check out The Clover Table Mahjong & Events, and it was also my first time playing on an automatic mahjong table. I have to say, having the tiles shuffled and magically pop back up out of the table is pretty darn fun!

It’s owned by my friend Amanda McDaniel, whom I’ve known for about 20 years, and I’m incredibly proud of her for taking something she loves and turning it into a business. The space is adorable (I loved the black cat themed bathroom! 🐈‍⬛), and the mahjong tables can even convert into regular tables so it can be used for showers, parties and other gatherings.

I was there for an especially good reason—a fundraiser for UP ministry, an Argyle-based nonprofit that supports at-risk children and families in our area. It was the perfect space for it, and we all had the best time!

Hey there! I’m Shannon, a local artist with a little art gallery inside The Clover Table! ☘🎨

This is my Eden Series, a collection inspired by nature and rooted in Scripture. Every piece is hand-painted, and on the back you’ll find the Bible verse that inspired it, along with its meaning.

Back to School = Back to Mahjong! 🀄
We thought there might be a few tears…but there were definitely more CHEERS! 😂🙌

Oh my goodness, did we have fun! A room full of smiling moms gathered around the tables, enjoying a little time for themselves, and playing lots of mahjong. 💚
