Around the rescue, he was Uncle Rebel. 🐱 He came to us shy, so we let him spend time with our littlest kittens, and bit by bit they helped him open up. Watching him become a patient, gentle uncle to every kitten who climbed on him was one of our favorite things this year. Now it's his turn to be the one who gets looked after. Thank you, Alison, for giving our favorite uncle a home of his own. Happy Gotcha Day, Rebel! 🏡 Officially adopted 9/26.

Here is how you can help: contact your local shelter or rescue group to learn about Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) resources. Humane trapping and neutering is the most effective way to save cat lives, improve their health, and manage the outdoor cat population. And.. if the cat turns out to be friendly, trapping them gives them a second chance to find their forever home through adoption!

John met Dosa at PetSmart and fell in love on the spot. 🐱 If you've watched our how-to-give-meds video, you already know this sweet, patient face. Dosa sat through every take like a pro and made one of the hardest parts of cat care look easy. We'll miss seeing that little face around the rescue, and we're so happy it gets to greet John every day now. Thank you, John, for choosing adoption and taking our star home.
