Eye Opening Facts:

The most recent comprehensive data on homelessness in Guilford County, North Carolina, comes from the 2024 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, which reported 641 individuals experiencing homelessness on a single night in January 2024. This marks a 42% increase from the 452 individuals counted in the 2023 PIT Count. The PIT Count, mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides a snapshot of sheltered and unsheltered homelessness but may undercount due to its one-night focus and weather impacts on prior years.

The 2025 PIT count has been completed but data has not been released.

On Thursday, November 20th, Just Open Your Eyes Ministry joined D Up to serve meals to those in need. Then on Saturday, November 22nd, we partnered with TC Community to provide another HOT meal for individuals and families in our community.

Hello FB Friends and Family! We are still in need of donations to complete our Winter Essential Bags project. You can either purchase an item and have it shipped to us or you can make a donation and we can purchase the items still need.
