Fished the Central Missouri Catfish Tournaments season opener Saturday with Cody Adams. We had a game plan and took a run to our spot about 30 miles. Got to our spot and waited till 7 am. 7am hit we cast our rods out and by 708 Cody had our first fish a 34 1/2 inch blue. We ended up catching 7 more fish in that spot and the bait moved out. We struggled after that finding fishing wanting to bite again. We ended up weighing our biggest five fish for 35.9 pounds for 19th place. As much as I hate the lake this is the best I’ve ever done. Finally learning the lake a little more.
I didn’t hate it as usual when I left. lol.
Next one is March 30th at Miami on the Missouri River.

Alright just got in two Hooker's Terminal Tackle, Salty Dawg series rods in today. From the packaging in PVC pipe to the rods holy cow. Two piece rod that is going to be awesome for storage. Comes with a rod sock to store both sections as well. 8 foot medium heavy rod. The handle is thick but easy to hold. The reel seat is smooth and easy to tighten or loosen.
Def cannot wait to get this out and give it a go. Def can tell going to be able to cast a mile with this rod.
