It is with broken hearts that we share the very sad news of the passing of our beloved friend, Sam Thatte.
Sam was a friend to everyone and loved by so many. He genuinely cared about people, their businesses, their dreams, and their success. He always wanted to make sure everything was done just right because he cared so deeply about those he helped.
Sam was a treasured friend of the High Desert Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and especially dear to our Chamber president. But to all of us, Sam was much more than a friend—he was family.
He was a gentle soul with a kind and generous heart. He made us laugh, brought happiness wherever he went, and inspired us to become better human beings simply by being around him.
Sam deserved the very best in life, and we were so happy that he found his beautiful Ursula. Together, they traveled, experienced the world, and enjoyed life. Through his wonderful travel blogs, Sam allowed all of us to share in their adventures. He made us feel as though we had been transported to those beautiful places and were right there beside them.
Our entire community mourns the loss of this remarkable man, but we are forever grateful to have known him, laughed with him, and experienced life with him.
Sam, you will remain forever in our hearts. We love you, we will miss you deeply, and we thank God for the blessing of your friendship. We find comfort in knowing that you are now resting in God’s glorious presence.
Please keep Ursula, Sam’s family, and all those who loved him in your thoughts and prayers. 🤍
