The Arts and Culture Committee of the Herndon Woman’s Club invites you to celebrate a brand new addition to our downtown area.

Join us for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of the "Summer Symphony" wall mural, created by local artist Patricia Eprem. This vibrant new feature brings life to the business district, capturing the energy of a bright summer day with beautiful flora, fauna, and bird song.

Date: Monday, June 15th
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Location: Downtown Herndon, located directly behind Mile 20 and The Breeze at 781 Station Street.

Come on out and help us welcome this wonderful new landmark to our community. We look forward to seeing you there.

On June 9th, members of our Health and Wellness CSP delivered feminine hygiene and incontinence products, toothpaste, washcloths, shampoo and conditioner to the Embry Rucker Shelter in Reston. These products were purchased by the club, along with generous donations from individual members.

The Herndon Woman’s Club Arts and Culture CSP is continuing its mission to beautify downtown with rwo brand new murals behind The Breeze Restaurant and Sports Bar . Our artist, Patricia Eprem, started work today on this latest project located right next to our first mural, Hello Herndon.

While you watch the progress, expect to see a garden of flowers, birds, and butterflies take shape. This new piece builds on the success of the Hello Herndon mural by artist Matt Long, which recently won the Best Project award from the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Northern District of Virginia.

Come on out and see the magic happen as Patricia transforms the wall. We look forward to sharing this growing garden of delights with the community.

We appreciate the first responders in our community and find ways to support them in their work. In April 2026, HWC members met with the firefighters at the North Point Station to present a donation to help them purchase a pergola for their station, providing a break area for these hard working first responders. In May 2025, the HWC provided funds to the firefighters at the Herndon Station for a smoker that they use to prepare food to nourish hungry workers. Thank you to all of our first responders for your service!
