What marathon in the last couple of weeks at RCMS. Amongst SOL’s, the PTA is wrapping the year in pure RCMS style; joy!
It’s a complete joy to end 2025-2026 PTA school year on a high note. We honored our educators/staff to wonderful cuisines and sweet treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. We are nothing without them@or our students. Thank you to Mic Harmon, Rachel Copeland, and Bindi Majmundar for their tireless efforts to bridge support between RCMS PTA & Students throughout this year.
We closed our final general session with a hybrid experience. Followed by a volunteer appreciation dinner and movie in the library. Younger students who attended expressed their desire or excitement to come to Carson.
Followed by en epic Tuscany, Italian themed 8th Grade celebration dance. Our 7th graders, admin, and teachers came together to honor our 8th graders promoting to high school by setting up and serving.
Lastly, we arrived at Langston Hughes Middle School with obvious friendly competition vibes. The left with a “W.”
Words cannot express how important it is to capture these moments through service and dedication to our community. Seeing generational impact through the lens of creating timeless memories is unimaginably beautiful.
Special thanks to Mr. Barrows and Mrs. Monique who worked closely with President Nikkia and VP of Comms Kinnari to coordinate all aspects of liaison between the PTA and Admin. We have a wonderful and inspiring dynamic that has helped bridge previous gaps to greater serve the students and staff.
To Mrs. Mavis and Mrs. Mina always providing additional support and resources when needed as our officers entered the school.
Extreme gratitude for our Librarians, TA’s, SRO’s, counselors team, club & team advisors. You have poured much love into these young scholars in the making. Thank you for all you do to collaborate. We appreciate the time spent to help our students grow.
