"I grew up on the island of St. Lucia, and even then, I naturally wanted to help people and find solutions. My first recollection of wanting to go to law school came after hearing multiple accounts of Caribbean artists whose music was being pirated while they struggled to make ends meet. Even as a young person, I understood that talent alone doesn't protect you. You need someone who knows the rules and is willing to use them for you."
