Founded in 2024 by 17-year-old Jayden Watkins, Higher Is Waiting’s mission is to educate, equip, and empower youth and young adults.

We provide mentorship, resources, leadership development, and programs that expand futures in rural communities.

Happening this Friday! On a Friday night, us teens could be doing anything, but instead we choose to come together for Bible study, team building activities, mental health discussions, and to have fun as we encourage one another to become EMPOWERED! It’s an honor to lead this movement.

If you know a teen ages 13–19, please encourage them to attend EMPOWERED on Friday!

Vance County please SHARE! There will be a free healthcare clinic Saturday, March 28th and Sunday, March 29th beginning at 6 AM each day.

Organizations will be providing FREE vision services (glasses made on site), FREE dental care (extractions, fillings), and FREE medical care (from specialists to general medicine) — all with no insurance or ID required.

The clinic closes at 5 PM on Saturday when the last patient finishes receiving the care, and on Sunday, the clinic closes around NOON. Since people are receiving care on a first come first served basis, show up to the clinic as early as possible.

This is open to EVERYONE.

Please encourage all teens ages 13–19 to attend EMPOWERED this Friday, February 20th at 7 PM for our Mentorship & Bible Study event in Henderson, NC!

It’s an honor to organize fun and faith filled events for my peers. This is a safe space for teenagers to spend a Friday night growing, building leadership, and becoming better problem-solvers in a fun way. Dinner will be provided, and free professional transportation is available for any teen who needs it.
