⚽ Matchday 2 of WKDL is in the books! Just like opening week, we saw a ton of great soccer across all divisions. The energy, teamwork, and excitement on the field are exactly what this league is all about.

We didn’t have official photos or video crews out last night, but we know plenty of families and fans were snapping pics and recording highlights. We’d love for you to share what you captured in the comments so everyone can enjoy the action from Matchday 2! 🙌

Last night was a special one for soccer in Henderson! ⚽🔥

WKDL x MLS GO! officially kicked off with our first matches, and it could not have started better! Players took the field in their new kits with energy, excitement, and smiles that showed exactly what this league is all about. Families and friends lined the sidelines all evening, creating a community atmosphere that made the night unforgettable.

WKDL x MLS GO! is built for Henderson, KY. The players on the field are the future of soccer in our city, and many of the volunteer coaches guiding them represent the generations of HCHS Colonels Soccer that came before. We cannot thank our families and coaches enough for the support that made opening night so special!

We are proud to bring the name and support of Major League Soccer to Henderson through MLS GO! This is only the beginning, and it is going to keep getting bigger and better from here!

Starting soon at Henderson County Public Library! Hope to see you there!

📣 In-Person WKDL x MLS GO Fall Registration Events! ⚽

Come see us at the Henderson County Public Library (101 South Main Street) in the Computer Lab for in-person registration for the Fall 2025 WKDL x MLS GO season!

🗓 Sunday, July 27th | 2:00 – 4:00 PM
🗓 Wednesday, July 30th | 5:30 – 7:30 PM

WKDL league administrators will be on-site to answer your questions and help you get your player registered for an exciting new season of local soccer. Bilingual support will be available to assist Spanish-speaking families throughout the registration process.

💵Need help with player fees?
We’ll also be assisting families in applying for Individual Grants through the MLS GO Play Fund, which can fully cover player registration for eligible participants.

To apply for financial assistance, you must bring the following documents to the in-person registration event:

✅ Proof of household income (must be under $80,610):
– Acceptable forms include pay stubs, earnings statements, or a W2 form
– Documents must include clear dates and should be your most recent copy

✅ Proof of enrollment in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC:
– Must clearly show the participant’s name on the document

Both documents are required at the time of registration to complete your grant application.
