Join us on Tuesday,May 5, 6:00-7:30 at RRCH, 437 First Street.

Things have got to change! Parent and families may say that a lot when dealing with a loved one suffering from substance use disorder. When we learn to change our responses to our loved ones, we will also be changing our relationship.

PAL(Parents of Addicted Love Ones) is a meeting for parents helping parents. It is also for spouses and family members. We meet every Tuesday!

Last week, we brought the STOP Project into the classroom and had some great conversations about how the choices we make can impact our lives and future. The students were engaged and thoughtful—this is where prevention starts.

We’re also excited to introduce our new STOP Project Coordinator, Matthew Hobdy, who has already been in the high school connecting with students.

‘I’m excited to step into this role and continue building relationships with our students and community!’

Meet Tammy. This is her recovery story:
My sobriety date is July 2 2023.
Our message is hope and the promise is freedom. We can lose the desire to drink. No one is too broken to have a change of heart and find a new way to live. What was once my secret is now my story. If anyone needs help reach out.

September is Recovery Month. I'm posting this in hopes that those of you in recovery will post your recovery date to show others it's possible. No one is too far gone. Join us! Life can be so worth living in recovery!
