🚨 Less than a week away! 🚨

Sportsman’s Raffle tickets are still available for $5 each or 5 tickets for $20! The drawing will be held Saturday, August 29th AFTER the Cross Creek Annual Sale, and you do not have to be present to win. We will be set up at the sale and you can get tickets the same day.

We’ll also have our custom Cokesbury Volunteer Fire Department Challenge Coins available for $15 each. They’re a great way to support the department and own a unique keepsake. Each coin is front and back and comes with a protective cover. (pictured below!)

Cokesbury Women’s Auxiliary is excited to host our Quarter Auction on Saturday, November 7th!

Doors open at 5:00 PM and the auction begins at 6:00 PM at Cokesbury Methodist Church.

Today, we recognize National Volunteer Firefighter Day and honor those who selflessly serve our community. Thank you to all of our volunteers, past and present, for your commitment, sacrifice, and service! 🚒🧑‍🚒

Another great night of training!

Last night, members participated in hose and deployment training, focusing on the fundamentals of effective fireground operations. Members reviewed different types of fire hose and nozzles, proper hose loads, and various deployment techniques before putting those skills into practice.

Continued hands-on training throughout the week allows our members to strengthen their skills, improve efficiency, and remain prepared.

Members of Cokesbury participated in water rescue training Monday night alongside Vance County Fire Department , Kittrell Vol. Fire Dept, Watkins Vol Fire Dept, Epsom Evfd, and Townsville Fire & EMS.

This training provided valuable hands-on experience with marine operations, water rescue procedures, and coordination between responding agencies. Opportunities like these help strengthen our skills and ensure our members are prepared to respond safely and effectively when called upon.
