Alpha Upsilon Alpha Honor Society at Hofstra University

Alpha Upsilon Alpha, the honor society of the International Reading Association, acknowledging excellence in the field of literacy amongst scholars.

We are Alpha Upsilon Alpha Honor Society of the International Reading Assocation at Hofstra University, the Graduate organization for Literacy Scholars. Our Alpha Chapter will be initiated in September 2014, and we are very excited to grow as literacy educators in our love for education and reading.

Three of our officers attended the International Literacy Association Annual Conference in St. Louis, MO this month! Through break-out sessions, author meet-ups, workshops, speakers, and community events, they learned so much to be able to take back to their own classrooms!
