Next up is the 5th Annual Winter Lodge Rendezvous at the HAT! December 5 & 6 at 7 pm. Get your tickets today as they are selling fast. This year’s event highlights the roles, talent and knowledge of Montana’s indigenous women and features traditional artist, speaker and cultural consultant, Louise Fischer; with Amanda Walking Child who will share stories and lead an all-woman drum group called “Wanesa”; Sapphire Ferguson-Jetty, who will play traditional and contemporary Métis fiddle music; Rachel Twoteeth-Pichardo, an accomplished Native flute player; and Quincy Bjornberg who is a certified instructor of traditional Indian Games. As he did for the first four Winter Lodge Rendezvous’, Northern Plains Singer, speaker and educator, Mike Jetty returns as host for this unique event.
