When we started The IBC in 2022, we knew we wanted to be an organization that would be more than a flash in the pan when crisis strikes.  We wanted to be a reliable, trustworthy partner to those we helped, not only during the height of headlines, but in the long-term when headlines fad

As we wind down the final few hours of 2024, we reflect on all that we have accomplished together over the last twelve months. While we’re proud of our efforts, to those on the receiving end of this support, it’s the reminder that they are not forgotten that is most impactful.

Through your generosity we are able to continue bridging borders to those negatively impacted by war, and deliver the greatest gift we can give - the gift of hope.

We look forward to another fruitful year ahead as we continue to make a positive impact in the lives of those who have endured so much. Thank you for your support of our mission.

With bright, peaceful wishes for 2025,
The IBC Team

On this Giving Tuesday give the real gift of the season - HOPE.

Over the last two years, we have continued to meet the needs of people negatively impacted by the ongoing wars in Ukraine and Syria by providing basic needs like food, warm clothing, and housing assistance.

And ✨NEW this holiday season✨, is the opportunity to create a recurring weekly or monthly donation!

Your tax-deductible donation enables us to continue our work, and reminds those who continue to suffer the evils of war that they are not forgotten.

Partner with us today and give the greatest gift of the season to someone in need.

According to the , as of September 2024, nearly 1 million refugees from Ukraine are living in Poland. The majority are women and children and represents 2.5% of the total population of Poland.

As we shared in our most recent Update, our partner and friends Церква "Боже світло"/Kościół Chrześcijański "Boże Światło" have been tirelessly caring for Ukrainian refugees in Lublin, Poland since February 2022. We’ve witnessed firsthand how their support services like housing assistance and language classes have made a direct, positive impact in the lives of women and children, like Juliya and her 3 kids who have been living in Poland since March 2022.

Through your donation, we will partner together to supporting the refugee services GLC is providing and continue our work of bridging borders and brining hope.

Even now, amidst the escalation of regional conflict, we are working with our partners to provide desperately needed food to Syrian refugees living in Beirut, Lebanon.

Just $22 provides enough food for a family for 1 month.

That’s right. One quarter of the world’s population - 2 BILLION people - currently live in conflict-affected areas.

That’s 2 billion men, women, and children - 2 BILLION reasons why we work so tirelessly at The IBC.

With your help, we are able to provide aid and support to just 1 of those 2 billion souls, and then 1 more after that, and 1 more after that…

Mar. 2023: Women are especially vulnerable during times of conflict and war. Since the war in Ukraine started, we have met hundreds of Ukrainian women, each with their own story of how they have been impacted by the war.
Some women, like those volunteering with the women-led The Ukrainian Dream, gather every day to pack dry rations for soldiers. With missile sirens wailing in the air, they push their personal safety aside and show up every day to serve and offer support to one another.
Others, like Juliya, fled Ukraine for the safety of her 3 children, leaving behind all their worldly possessions. As a young widow she has had to navigate tough decisions and make tough decisions alone, relying on her faith and the kindness of others to see her through.
Other refugee women, gather together for vital emotional and mental health care via Women’s Support Group, having a safe space to share their tears, their anger, their sadness, and their hopes.
Your generosity enables us to continue funding shelters and utilities for refugee women; providing benevolence support; and other humanitarian aid needed. Thank you 💙
