I didn't anticipate having such a short season as a librarian, but the time has come to close up the Helen Living Library.

I have much gratitude for all the love and support shown to us and to this endeavor over the past several years. If you donated time, resources, or were a patron here, I THANK YOU. It has been a joy.

Today's Horticulture 4 Homeschoolers series featured Master Gardener Jeanne Rushin teaching about the components of soil and how to strengthen soil health.
We saw nematodes, flagellated protozoan, and rotifers. We were on the hunt for tardigrades, but they were elusive.

Hosting Good Shepherd Classical Christian Co-op was a joy! We made some new friends and visited with old ones as well.
The kids shared with me about their reading of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and I shared from CS Lewis' book, Boxen, with them. 💚
