Welcome to Heber Springs, AR Rocks.
This group was formed to help build our community and family togetherness and bring smiles and happines to those who find our rocks. Please share our page and invite your friends.
Here is how it works:
Find or purchase rocks from Garden Supply Stores. Home Depot, Lowes, Dollar Tree or any store that sells garden supplies. Smooth rocks work best.
Do not remove rocks from people's homes, businesses, parks, rail road tracks(against the law for these two. Purchase your painting supplies, (Paint, Sharpies, Paint Pens, Paint brushes, Sealer, Stencils(if desired).
Before painting, wash your rocks to remove any debris or dirt. Let them dry and get creative.. Paint animals, flowers, objects , scenery, inspirational sayings, quotes. Whatever you want.
On the back please write " Heber Springs AR Rocks . Please post picture on our page. Keep or rehide . Remember to seal your rocks and let them dry before hiding.
Everyone loves to see when their rocks are found.
If you find an art rock, you can either keep the rock or re-hide the rock for someone else to find
Please remember that this is not a competition.... It's purpose is to make as many people smile as possible. If several rocks are placed together (like a bunch on a park bench, gathered in front of a door, on a monument/statue etc) it is recommended to only take one and leave the rest for others to find.
-Please only leave rocks outside (but not hidden in the grass or somewhere a mower might run over it).
-Do not place inside businesses unless you get permission from a manager to do so. Some businesses have high health regulations, audits etc.
-Please do not place rocks in front of or inside the credit/debit card readers at ATM Machines, gas stations, Sonic etc Most credit/debit card readers have security devices on them that shut the card reader down if it detects any foreign objects.
-Please be careful where you hide rocks. Hiding them in the middle of parking lots, intersections etc is dangerous.
Thank you for your interest and participation in this group. It's going to be lots of fun!
