Just a typical day at Camp Forward. 💦☀️😎

While some kids are sitting at home this summer, ours are making memories, making friends, staying active, and having fun.

Yesterday’s adventure? A trip to the splash pad where the kids got to cool off, laugh, play, and just be kids.

And the best part? Tomorrow’s adventure will be something completely different.

We’re currently looking for community volunteers who may have a skill, talent, or trade they would love to share with our youth this summer! ❤️

If you have a skill you’d be interested in teaching during one 1.5-hour block once a day, we would truly love to connect with you. We’re especially looking for individuals interested in helping with:

* Art
* Music
* Creative activities
* Youth enrichment
* Choir support for our Camp Forward Youth Choir

This is a great opportunity to pour into the next generation, inspire creativity, and help us create meaningful experiences for local youth this summer.

At Camp Forward, we created a structured summer model designed to keep kids active, engaged, learning, and having FUN all summer long.

Every day campers rotate through multiple experiences so they never sit around bored all day.

Our daily camp model includes:
🏈 Sports & Recreation
🎨 STEM + Creative Arts
📚 Reading & Literacy
🎶 Choir, Dance & Performance
🌱 Gardening & Nature Activities
🤝 Leadership & Life Skills
🎯 Team Challenges & Games

Each week also has its own theme to keep camp exciting:

Campers will participate in:

We also plan to include fun trips and special experiences throughout the summer to expose our youth to new environments, teamwork opportunities, and memorable moments outside of their everyday routine. 🚌☀️

Because of this community, we were able to raise $657.00 toward our new refrigerator for the summer feeding program. That means hundreds of meals for children in our area just got one step closer to happening.

We’ve been quiet… but we’ve been building.

After a full year of planning every detail—from activities to safety—we’re proud to officially announce Camp Forward 2026—part of Youth Forward’s summer-long impact experience at Solid Rock Church.

This isn’t just a camp. It’s a space where our youth can stay active, keep learning, and grow in a safe, structured environment all summer long. From sports leagues and team play, to reading and learning time, to hands-on experiences like building and maintaining a community garden—every part of Camp Forward is designed with purpose.

We also made sure this works for our families.

Rates start at just $50 per week, and for our Hazlehurst families, it’s only $25 per week. We also offer discounted rates, multi-family pricing, and accept CAPS—because access matters, and every child deserves the opportunity to be part of something positive.

Our team is made up of local community members who already work in youth spaces and responsible youth Leaders, so you can trust your child is in a safe, supportive, and intentional environment. And throughout the summer, we’re making sure kids are fed, engaged, and cared for.
