Cauliflowers and herbs are absolutely THRIVING at the community garden! Great job little planters. All program participants are welcome to go harvest their herbs at the garden at any time. There is currently sage, oregano, and parsley. Produce will also be made available at Play and Learns as it grows.

Even before summer officially begins, outside temperatures can reach high levels. When it is warm outside, the inside of a car can become dangerously hot in a very short time, potentially reaching levels 50 degrees hotter than the outside air. Tragically, pediatric hot car deaths can occur when temperatures outside are as low as 60°F.
So far, in 2026, there have already been two pediatric hot car deaths in the United States. While hot car deaths can happen in any month, cases most frequently increase between May and September.

Every hot car death is preventable. Spread awareness of this simple, life-saving message: Once You Park, Stop, Look, Lock.
