This is beyond heartbreaking while also very alarming. Please have a conversation with your loved ones about the dangers of using any drugs.

Please take a Narcan training class and carry Narcan on you, have it in your home in your first aid kit. Every library in Dakota County offers free Narcan, no questions asked! Hastings Family services and Rise Up Recovery are also naloxone access points here in Hastings.

Have a conversation with your children that all drugs sold on social media are fake and deadly! Have the hard conversations now before it is too late. Never say, not my kid.... My kid would never.... There's no room for anyone to experiment even once anymore!

If you are a person in need of help, please don't hesitate to reach out. Recovery, while hard, is possible. You are worth it! You are needed here!

This is really great information!

"To reduce Minnesotans’ reliance on opioid prescriptions to treat chronic pain, MDH has partnered with Hennepin Healthcare System to launch NOPAIN MN – a comprehensive, searchable public resource that maps the locations of non-opioid pain management providers across the state. The map Includes providers of psychotherapy, acupuncture, yoga, massage therapy, chiropractic care, physical therapy, and more.

The NOPAIN MN map highlights services that have been demonstrated to reduce chronic pain and improve quality of life. As alternatives to using opioid prescriptions for pain management, these often-underused options can provide effective treatment with no risk of substance misuse."

This website map of Minnesota is designed for anyone to find evidence-based non-opioid and non-pharmacological pain treatment methods, options, and qualified providers throughout the state.

As AI rapidly reshapes how people seek mental health support, we need to have critical conversations about its risks and responsibilities.

Join SAVE, the National Su***de Prevention Advocacy Network (NSPAN), and the Ohio Su***de Prevention Foundation (OSPF) for "Exploring the Intersection of AI & Su***de Prevention" on Wednesday, June 10 at 1 p.m. EDT.

This webinar will feature:

👉 Mother Alicia Shamblin will be talking about her son Zane, who died by su***de after seeking help from a chatbot
👉 Matthew Bergman, founding attorney of the Social Media Victims Law Center, discussing lawsuits against technology companies
👉 Dr. Marlynn Wei, MD, JD, a psychiatrist who has testified before Congress on AI chatbots in mental health care

"There is a real danger in overpromising what AI can do for people in crisis. Right now, these tools are algorithms, not clinicians, not counselors, not humans," said SAVE CEO Erich Mische. "We have an obligation to be clear-eyed about that before more people are harmed."

This conversation is for advocates, clinicians, policymakers, technologists, and community members who want to understand how AI can be developed and used responsibly in su***de prevention.

There’s a version of life where our Angels are still here.

Where birthdays are celebrated.
Where laughter fills the room.
Where the future is still unfolding.

That’s the hardest part.

Ride 4 Life is about honoring our Angels lives—and fighting for the ones still here.

💙 Grief doesn’t go away.

It changes you.

It shows up in quiet moments, in milestones, in the everyday things that should feel normal—but don’t.

We carry that grief into this ride.

And we turn it into purpose.

A line of motorcycles riding together for a cause bigger than themselves.
