When we pull into your establishments, we aren't simply making another stop on a motorcycle ride. We are carrying the names, faces, and memories of the sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends, and loved ones who should still be here but are not. We carry the heartbreak of the families whose lives were forever changed by their loss. But we also ride for the families who are still fighting — those who sit beside a loved one battling substance use disorder, who live with the fear of that phone call, who celebrate the victories and endure the setbacks, who pray for recovery, and who wake up every morning hoping today will be the day their loved one finds their way home. We want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank the family of Dalton Zetwick for their incredible support of this year’s Ride 4 Life.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MARY RODEE

I want to take a moment to give a very special thank-you to Mary Rodee for her generous donation to the Devin J. Norring Foundation (DNF).

Mary is my fellow co-founder of Parents RISE!, and someone who has walked alongside me in this fight to make a difference for families and protect others from experiencing the unimaginable loss that we know all too well.

Mary and I came together through our love for our children and through a shared determination to turn our pain into purpose. Our bond and the understanding that comes from being parents fighting for change is something I will always value and never take for granted.

And, of course, this donation is also made in honor of her son, Riley.

Riley’s story, his life, and his memory are part of the reason Mary continues to show up and advocate. If you know Mary like I do, you know she fights for all of our kids. Mary has so much passion, heart, and I love how she keeps all of us on our toes! Just as I will always carry Devin with me, Mary carries Riley with her in everything she does.
