We are concerned about the Colombian Deaf children and teenagers who are unable to study due to the aftermath of the magnitude 7.4 earthquake on August 10, 2026. This was 2 weeks ago. School buildings were damaged in a large area of the Andean region and the Pacific coast. Many Deaf children and teens are in situations where they do not have daily communication in Colombian Sign Language. Our Filadelfia School for the Deaf Bogota (CFSB) has decided to offer online school activities every weekday for 1 hour and 15 minutes to provide communication, encouragement, and hope to these students. We begin tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th. Please remember to pray for our team and our students who will also be participating. Loss of internet connections, a lack of cellphone service in some areas, and letting the students and their families know are some of the challenges we are facing. Please pray for those who are living in these situations. Thank you!
