2025_0909_Iglesia Bautista Casa de Oracion, Huixtla, Chiapas, Mexico: Today was a blessed day. The day started after a great breakfast, as we searched for a projector. We discovered that one low-resolution projector was donated to the church. Unfortunately, when we tried displaying tonight’s BTCA presentation, it didn't work out too well. We resorted to a handout that had been previously prepared. The presentation, one of the three ministry focus areas, went well, and some questions were generated. As a reminder, this is just a seed that is being planted. After three months, we will revisit BTCA’s proposal. Tomorrow, we will restart our search for a projector or large screen TV that can be used not only for presenting information but also for hosting movie nights, after-school tutoring, and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people of Huixtla. Before the BTCA presentation, we met and sang beautiful spirit-filled music. Pastor Aman is shepherding a great group of leaders and great Christ-loving congregants.
Tomorrow, we will initiate the Bible study entitled ‘Mi Experiencia con Dios’. We have fourteen students ready to start the 12-week study. I met some of those students and was able to let them know that it is a great study that will positively impact their spiritual lives. After starting the study in Huehuetenango (15) and Todos Santos (17), there will be 60 students taking the study. God is at work at the four churches, and it is exciting to me to be part of this happening in Mexico and Guatemala.
God is great, and I thank Him for allowing me to meet many wonderful disciples here in Huixtla.

2025_0909_Iglesia Bautista Casa de Oración, Huixtla, Chiapas, México: Hoy fue un día bendecido. El día comenzó después de un gran desayuno, mientras buscábamos un proyector. Descubrimos que un proyector de baja resolución fue donado a la iglesia. Desafortunadamente, cuando intentamos mostrar la presentación de BTCA de esta noche, no funcionó muy bien. Recurrimos a un folleto que había sido preparado previamente.
La presentación, una de las tres áreas de enfoque del ministerio, salió bien y se generaron algunas preguntas. Como recordatorio, esto es solo una semilla que se está plantando. Después de tres meses, revisaremos la propuesta de BTCA.
Mañana, reiniciaremos nuestra búsqueda de un proyector o tele de pantalla grande que pueda usarse no solo para presentar información, sino también para organizar noches de cine, tutorías extracurriculares y otras iniciativas destinadas a mejorar la vida de la gente de Huixtla.
Antes de la presentación de BTCA, nos reunimos y cantamos hermosa música llena de espíritu. El pastor Aman está pastoreando a un gran grupo de líderes y grandes feligreses amantes de Cristo.
Mañana iniciaremos el estudio bíblico titulado 'Mi Experiencia con Dios'. Tenemos catorce estudiantes listos para comenzar el estudio de 12 semanas. Conocí a algunos de esos estudiantes y pude hacerles saber que es un gran estudio que tendrá un impacto positivo en sus vidas espirituales. Después de iniciar el estudio en Huehuetenango (15) y Todos Santos (17), habrá 60 estudiantes tomando el estudio.
Dios está obrando en las cuatro iglesias, y es emocionante para mí ser parte de esto que sucede en México y Guatemala.
Dios es grande, y le agradezco por permitirme conocer a muchos discípulos maravillosos aquí en Huixtla. Buenas noches, que Dios continúe bendiciéndote y te amo.
