Darlington Rescue is a dedicated team of volunteers whose goal is to reduce the euthanasia rate at Darlington County Humane Society, improve the health of all shelter pets through providing veterinary, and medical care, and to provide a safe and loving care at the 'Bridge' facility while waiting to transport to approved Rescue partners. Due to a lack of funds, our pets would go untreated for injuries and illness, and their options at finding homes would be limited at best. Through Darlington Rescue, you and many others can provide the help our pets need to bring them closer to their new forever home. Join us in making a difference in the life of a pet and our community today!

🧡🤍Sweet little Poison Ivy, Mom to the Batman litter, is still looking for her forever family. Poison Ivy meets other dogs very politely and enjoys being with them, and loves attention from people. She met two younger children who promptly took her leash, started leading her around and were petting her, she was great with them🙂. Poison Ivy has shared her kennel with other dogs due to ongoing shelter overcrowding and would love to have her own home, snuggling up with you on a couch. Poison Ivy is a 3 years old, 37lbs heart worm positive terrier mix, a low rider that wants to meet you. Located in Hartsville SC, ask for this sweetie!

🖤🤍🧡Banshee is a 1 1/2 year old 37 lb heart worm positive hound mix with the cutest ears! She arrived as a stray with multiple scars, a gash between her shoulders and dehydrated😕. Despite her past she is a very sweet, kissy girl. She was a bit shy during her first play group but it didn’t take long for her to open up and enjoy herself. She gets along nicely with other dogs and needs a home and a family to give her the love she deserves. Can she be your new boo?

🧡🤍RADDISH wants to meet you! She’s a 2 year old, 50lb heart worm positive pit bull terrier who arrived as a stray in July. She was found in a yard with a runner attached to her black collar, unfortunately no one came looking for her.

🤍🧡Raddish is the sweetest girl! Shes a happy, smiling, social girl with the cutest upright ear. Raddish gets along well with other dogs, and is eager to run and play chase, but will hang out and wait if her dog pal isn’t quite ready to play. Raddish loves the water, laying in the kiddie pool during play time and loving it. Raddish is ready to find a new loving home, come meet her soon!

🥟DUMPLING is waiting to meet you! He’s a 2 year old 56lb heart worm positive lab/bully mix in need of rescue or adoption. He’s friendly boy, has met other dogs politely and enjoyed his time out in the yard. Dumpling was more interested in sniffing his surroundings, but did check in with his new doggy friends. He’s good on a leash, likes attention from volunteers and has that happy bully smile. He’d make a nice companion for someone looking for a lower key boy. Located in Hartsville SC, please share this boy.
