Although our youth were not able to attend the full day of the 8th Annual Youth Summit due to also supporting another community event, Visionary Youth strongly believes in showing up and supporting other organizations—because presence matters.

We were grateful for the opportunity to stop in, connect, and witness the impactful work being done. Hartford Communities That Care, Inc. did an amazing job creating a space where youth voices are uplifted and empowered.

Our youth are already looking forward to being fully present at the next summit and continuing to grow, learn, and lead alongside their peers.

Our CEO, COO, and dedicated youth came together to participate in this powerful event, walking with purpose and unity to help raise awareness and support for families facing food insecurity across Connecticut.

This experience was more than just a walk—it was an opportunity for our young leaders to actively give back, build community connections, and be part of something bigger than themselves. We are committed to showing our youth what service, leadership, and compassion look like in action.

We are grateful to Connecticut Foodshare for creating space for organizations like ours to come together and make a difference.

Last night, Veronica Ruiz, Co-Founder/CEO of Visionary Youth, had the honor of attending the Neighborhood Care Response & Community Support Training – Week 6 Graduation hosted by Hartford Communities That Care, Inc. to support Paul Caraballo CO-Founder/COO Of Visionary Youth CT., on the successful completion of this impactful program.

This training represents more than just a certificate it reflects a deep commitment to community care, public safety, and being equipped to respond to the real needs of our neighborhoods. Paul’s dedication to growing his knowledge and strengthening his ability to serve is a direct reflection of the mission we stand on at Visionary Youth.
