These kiddos are Amazing!
I'll set the scene, this was our 3rd rehearsal last Saturday. Post singing the kiddos have lunch and then we do a craft.
The song we have been working on is Amazing (Hezekiah Walker), and we have 12 kids now. As you can see mostly girls between the ages of 6-10 HOWEVER we have a few teens as well (not captured)!
They are beading, I'm cleaning up and my assistants are helping them bead. And our mom tribe is in the corner chatting and tribing lol!
Then they (the kiddos) bust out into the song AND they do it well! They even established a lead!
This is one of the many reasons we are doing this. There is a joy in singing as a group, a healing of sorts, an innocence and power in children from all backgrounds coming together one song, one voice.
They are learning! They are singing, we are serving, AND they are growing!
