SABA Connecticut is honored to announce the winner of the 2026 Community Service Award, Jayesh Patel!
Jayesh is a business leader, entrepreneur, and dedicated community advocate based in Glastonbury, Connecticut. With a Master’s degree in Commerce, he has built a career grounded in leadership, service, and giving back.
For more than a decade, Jayesh has been a leader within the Gujarati Association of Connecticut, serving as Treasurer (2010–2017), President (2018–2023), and currently as a Trustee and Board Member. Through his leadership, he has helped strengthen cultural programming, community engagement, charitable initiatives, and food drives.
His commitment to service extends beyond the association. Jayesh has been recognized for his philanthropic efforts for patients with Cystic Fibrosis and Multiple Sclerosis, and has served as a Connecticut Notary Public for over a decade, providing free notary services to the community.
In 2024, his dedication to community service was recognized by Governor Ned Lamont, Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Mayor Arunan Arulampalam, and the Milan Cultural Association of Connecticut.
