Helping Hands for Connecticut

Helping Hands for Connecticut Helping Hands for Connecticut (HHC) aims to help those less fortunate through donation drives ranging from clothing and winter wear to school supplies

Helping Hands for Connecticut (HHC) was created in May 2013 by Farmington Valley students in hopes of ensuring every student is given every opportunity to excel and not be held back by lack of education tools. The idea to create HHC started when its founder Jack realized that students in school districts less than half an hour away were not being given the same advantages that Jack was being given

in his district. Since then HHC has strived to help the Greater Hartford County and its students. Please consider making a donation today. Donations of any size are accepted. Every penny counts! We are a 100% non-profit.

🌟 This past Saturday, we concluded our first official drive at Middlebury College that benefited the Charter House Coalition 🌟 Our work has helped offset the gap in Food Security created by COVID-19 in the Addison County, Vermont area.
🗣 A special shoutout goes to Amanda Reinhardt and Erin Morrison from the Middlebury Orientation team for donating a significant amount of boxed, non-perishable goods to the drive!
Moreover, this drive would not have been possible without the support of the Middlebury Student Government Association and the student body as a whole.
Thank you again, and we cannot wait for our next project in the near future ‼️

🚨This fall, Helping Hands is launching its first initiative in Vermont 🚨 We're running a Food Donation Drive to help support the Charter House Coalition (a local non-profit in Addison County).
🗣 To all Middlebury College Students, please consider bringing back any Non-Perishable or Canned Food Items you'd like to donate when you return to campus.
We ask you keep these items in your dorm rooms until the college reaches Phase 2 of Reopening. Upon then, students can donate their items in a collection bin at a location TBD on campus: more info will be released soon! Thank you so much for your support and Stay Safe!
