Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution, Inc. Spring Fling fundraising basket titled “The Cherry Blossom Legacy Basket”. The event took place on May 12,2026 at the Aquaturf Club.

Ours was a thoughtful collection of all things Cherry Blossom generously donated by our chapter and inspired by our President General Ginnie Storage’s special project at the in .

Some lucky lady bid and won the gorgeous 🌸 pin and DAR 🌸 challenge coin from the Daughters of the American Revolution National Headquarters insignia store and went home with a delightful basket of goodies! See the entire list in photos.

In honor of America250, the Ruth Wyllys Chapter has collaborated with the Ancient Burying Ground Association to co-sponsor several sessions of grave cleanings.

Oh my goodness, so many people want to help! Thanks to the 30 people who registered for Saturday's workshop. The weather should be clear! We have closed registration, but plenty of spots are open for the next session on June 6. We'll also have another session on Saturday, October 10, thanks to our sponsor the Daughters of the American Revolution, Ruth Wyllys Chapter.

We are delighted to announce that Jim Moore will be performing a mini-concert at the Veterans Coffee hour. This monthly meeting of local Veterans is a Service to America event proudly supported by our DAR Chapter. The meeting and the concert are free of charge and all Veterans are welcome!

As part of our Service to America initiative, the Ruth Wyllys Chapter, NSDAR, is proud to support a new monthly Veterans Coffee Hour in Farmington, CT with the help from a member of the Charles Merriman Society CAR.

Our chapter quietly assisted behind the scenes — helping organize dates, secure a venue, create invites, and provide refreshments. A small gesture with lasting impact, honoring those who served.
