If you know me, you know I’m Mrs. Structure, Mrs. Agenda & Mrs. “What’s the plan?” 🙃

So imagine everyone’s surprise when there was no agenda yesterday. 😂

I invited family, some close friends and the women of Being Joyfully You to help me celebrate a new season. What I thought would be a simple gathering to celebrate me graduating became something much more meaningful.

We laughed, we connected, we shared stories & we simply enjoyed being present with one another. 🥹

God’s J🌻Y was present and so was His peace.

Yesterday reminded me that not every beautiful moment needs an agenda. Sometimes showing up is enough.

Ya’ll proud of me?! 😂 I sure am. 👏🏾 👏🏾

🌻 Living a little slower.
A little softer.
A little more intentional.

Protecting my peace.

Not every season needs to be loud, busy, or packed with plans.

Some seasons are meant to be quiet.
Some seasons are meant for resting.
Some seasons are meant for sitting with God long enough to actually hear Him.

You do not have to fill every calendar space to prove you are productive.
You do not have to constantly be outside, networking, posting, moving, or performing.

There is something sacred about slowing down.
About protecting your peace.
About creating enough stillness in your life for clarity, healing, direction, and rest.

Sometimes God whispers.
And you can’t hear whispers in chaos.

So if this season feels quieter than usual…
maybe it is not emptiness.
Maybe it is invitation. 💛

At the Love & Light Gathering last week, we paused and read Ecclesiastes 3:1–12; the reminder that there is a season for everything.

I asked everyone in the room what season they were in.

When it came to me, I shared honestly that for the past few months, I’ve been in a lonely season.

And then something beautiful happened.

Pastor Alonda Hassell from Know Your Worth spoke words that I know weren’t just meant for me… they were meant for anyone who has been quietly walking through a season they didn’t expect.

Just a reminder today:
Your season is not permanent.
And you are not alone in it. 🌻💛

Last night ….. God met us there. 🌻💛

There’s something powerful about gathering in the right season. 🥹

The Yellow Chair blessed more people than I can put into words. It held stories. It held tears. It held laughter. It held courage. And now… it’s back in its rightful place, waiting for the next assignment. 😉

Joy was in the room.
Joy was our strength.
Joy reminded us we’re not walking alone.

I’m finally sitting and soaking it all in …. grateful, full, and already planning what’s next.
